eduGAIN is an international cross-federation service connecting research and education identity federations. It enables the secure exchange of identity, authentication and authorization information between participating federations.
REFEDS (Research and Education FEDerations) is a community of practitioners actively involved in access and identity work in their home countries, who support development in accordance with international standards to strengthen international cooperation. REFEDS is managed by GÉANT, which provides the secretariat for the group.
